Annual Parish Meeting, and Annual Meeting of the Council 13th May 2025
Present: Cllr. S. Mathison, Cllr. L. Burrows, Cllr. A. Fearnall, Cllr. F. Hood, Cllr. G. Jones, Cllr. I. Lamping, Cllr. J. Richardson, Cllr. D. Robins, Cllr. K. Roydhouse, Cllr. B. Towse

- Approval of the minutes May 2024
Proposed by Cllr. L. Burrows and seconded by Cllr. J. Richardson – the minutes were approved.
- Chairman’s Report
Cllr. S. Mathison reported on the work of the Parish Council over the last year and raised priorities for 2025/26. (report published on the Leven website and social media and placed in noticeboards).
- East Riding of Yorkshire Council Report
Cllr. P Smith referred to the support for the Christmas event and the progress made by the commuted sums action group. He had to leave the meeting early.
The Annual Parish Meeting closed at 710pm.
The Annual Meeting of the Council
- Election of the chair and vice chair for 2025/26
- Cllr. S. Mathison was nominated for chair by Cllr. J Richardson, this was supported unanimously therefore Cllr. S. Mathison was elected to be the chair for 2025/26.
Councillor Burrows explained she will not be standing for vice chair in 2025/26 due to personal pressures. Cllr. F. Hood was nominated by Cllr. G. Jones, Cllr. J. Richardson was nominated by Cllr. I. Lamping. A vote was taken and Cllr. J. Richardson was appointed. Votes for Cllr. Hood 3, votes for Cllr Richardson 4.
- Review of the Councils annual insurance. It was agreed to renew the policy due to the favourable quote
