| 47 | Report from East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) Cllr. Smith outlined how it is proposed by the government that roles in the planning process will be changing; this will result in more officer-led decision making and less importance placed on local consultation. The ERYC have been consulted and are opposed to these changes. Cllr. Smith confirmed the proposed Boundary Review of local council constituencies will be finally decided in September. Cllr. Robins enquired about the ongoing issues with the Leven to Beverley cycle path. Cllr. Smith reported that there is no current funding to address this but are seeking to draw down grant funding. | Cllr. P. Smith |
| 48 | Report from Humberside Police PCSO Legrove had no issues to report for Leven. Across the area parking outside schools is a problem. Cllr. Jones asked why after reporting a parking on the payment matter in the village the Police said nothing could be done unless observed by the force. PCSO confirmed the best action is to report such matters on the safer communities portal. PCSO Legrove cautioned residents to ensure sheds and other outbuildings are secure as across the area there has been an increase of mopeds etc. being stolen. | . PCSO Legrove |
| 49 | To receive and approve the Clerk’s Report Sport and Recreation Survey – over 130 surveys have been completed, and the analysis is underway. The next meeting of the commuted sums action group is now on 23rd July at the sports hall where the outcomes will be shared and discussed. No feedback received to date regarding the annual audit from the auditors and the council had to date had no requests for access to the accounts. Next month the clerk will be reviewing key policies and strategies. It was AGREED that the parish council would continue to meet at the Church Meeting Room for the foreseeable future. | Clerk |

| 57 | General Purpose Matters A – Events Committee – feedback Cllr Hood Meeting has been held, for Christmas event, Santa Claus has been booked and there is a proposal for a candlelit walk from the tree to the church grounds for a nativity. Next meeting on 21st July. B – Update on Village survey – Clerk Covered in clerk’s report. C – Update on Love Leven Sponsorship – Clerk To date the parish has received £300 in sponsorship for planting. D – Jubilee Gardens to further discuss, AGREE and AUTHORISE action – Vice Chair Electrician to be contacted regarding rewiring for Christmas lights. It was AGREED to cut back the hedging at the front of the gardens and plant more at the rear. It was AGREED to remove part of the fencing around the totem to enable the sculpture to be assessed and maintained. E- Removal of bus shelter – Clerk The old bus shelter needs to be removed before the first week in August and the area prepared for the delivery and installation of the new one. It was AGREED that Cllr. Towse would act as a link person for the site and he would contact the supplier. The clerk needs to be informed of the date of the removal of the shelter to inform the public and EYMS. |
